Spanish Visa from Morocco?
Hi, my husband is applying for his visa for Spain in Rabat. Do we need a prior appointment or can we just turn up? Do you know how long it may take? If i am a EU Citizen with property in Spain does this help our application? Where can we get travel insurance in Morocco for a Moroccan citizen? Thanks in advance for your replies
The visa processing time depends if it is a short or long visit visa form. Usually it takes about 10 business days for a visa to be issued. You should inform the Embassy that you are a citizen of the E.U. and show that you have property in Spain and provide address. Your husband should also have traveler’s health insurance and a printed itinerary of a return flight to Morocco or any nation outside the European Union. You don’t have to schedule an appointment, but if you feel that your presence will help, I recommend that you call the consulate in Rabat. Also call the consulate to inquire on what days and hours visa applications are accepted.
